I decided to take this class for three different reasons: Marketing is one of my majors and I am required to take a number of marketing classes in order to graduate; Social Media is one of the biggest tools nowadays in terms of networking and promoting your business, for free. Getting familiar with it could be a great advantage in the future; I have had several classes with professor Schreck in the past and even though those classes weren’t easy, I feel like I have learned a lot from them.
Even though there can be costs associated with promoting your business on social media (ads), creating a profile and constantly upgrading and posting is completely free. I would like to know how to work with it better so I can use that knowledge in the future to advertise my business.
